We are committed to providing Ashtanga Yoga classes as we have been taught in Mysore, India. We dedicate and offer our teaching and classes at the lotus feet of our beloved Guruji, who passed away in Mysore, India on May 18, 2009. It is through his grace and love that we are able to share this ancient tradition and practice. Guruji, you will be forever in our hearts and minds!

Morning Mysore-style classes begin from 7am. Students may arrive between 7am and  10:30am. Individual practice duration lasts 1 hour to 1 &1/2 hours depending on the practitioner’s level. All levels, including beginners, are welcome. Finishing postures and relaxation are to be finished by 12pm.

Evening Mysore-style classes begin from 6pm. Students may arrive between 6pm and 7:30pm. Individual practice duration lasts 1 hour to 1 &1/2 hours depending on the practitioner’s level. All levels, including beginners, are welcome. Finishing postures and relaxation are to be finished by 9pm.

Friday led primary class is taught in the traditional Sanskrit vinyasa counting method. Attending students should stop at the last posture of their normal Mysore-style practice. Class begins at 6:30am. Please arrive 15 minutes early so that we can start on time.

Sunday led primary class is taught in the traditional Sanskrit vinyasa counting method. Attending students should stop at the last posture of their normal Mysore-style practice. Class begins at 10am. Please arrive 15 minutes early so that we can start on time. This class is not for beginners.

Beginner workshop is a 2- day workshop offered the last weekend of each month. Ideal for anyone who would like an introduction to Ashtanga yoga or for any beginners who may want to start practicing at any of the other classes offered at the studio. Pre-registration is required and participants must sign up for both days of the workshop. It is from 12pm to 2pm both Saturday and Sunday.

There is no class on new moon and full moon days.

New students are requested to contact the school and observe class before beginning. They should also please commit to a minimum of one month’s practice, at least twice a week. Drop-in students who are visiting from out of town and have an existing Mysore-style practice are welcome.

When coming to class, please ensure that your body is clean and bring a small towel along with your yoga mat. Please refrain from eating for 2 – 3 hours before class.
